We’re Back!
Casper- On February 1st we opened two exciting exhibitions, Michael Scott’s Farny Fables and Linda Foster Leonhard’s Abstracted Realities. All of our normal programming has returned as regularly scheduled.
- Have you tried Art’s Cool After School? This new FREE after school program is for students in kindergarten through 6th grade and meets every Tues. and Thurs. from 4:00—5:00 pm. Please call ahead to pre-register. This is a great activity for kids to look forward to after school.
- Do you enjoy meeting other moms and dads who have a little Picasso at home? Join us at The NIC for, Preschool Picassos! Preschool Picassos is for children 3-5 years old. Classes are FREE and held at 1:00-2:00 every Monday. Younger brothers and sisters are welcome to come and watch their big brother or sister create.
- Are you a music lover? Join us March 2nd for lunch from 12-1pm during NIC At Noon in the lobby of the Nicolaysen Art Museum. Bucky Walker and Richard Turner will be playing a variety of Renaissance pieces to celebrate the spirit of Casper College’s Humanities Festival. There is no admission charge. Patrons can choose to either bring their own lunch or call ahead to Grant Street Grocery at 237-2539 and they will deliver your lunch to the NIC lobby.
- Finally, start your week out refreshed and relaxed with The Art of Yoga. As of March 5th we will meet each Monday at 11:30 am for one hour. This class for adults designed for those who have never tried Yoga and for anyone who practices the technique daily. There is no limit to the class size and walk-ins are welcome! The cost is $10 for a one hour class or buy 4 sessions and get the fifth class FREE.
