The Nicolaysen Art Museum & Discovery Center’s 21st Annual Dinner and Auction Gala is fast approaching. Our theme, Wild Wooly Window Wingding, celebrates our exciting project, WOW. The WOW project, or Windows of Wyoming, has been a cultural community event with 44 artists and 24 community groups painting window panels which have been on display in the historic Townsend Hotel since the first of June. The window panels will be brought to the museum the first part of September, and will be auctioned during our Gala Dinner and Auction event which will be held at the Nicolaysen on September 30, 2006 at 6PM.
The Annual Art Auction & Dinner is the Museum’s largest fundraiser and social event of the year. Each year the NIC hosts this cultural event to bring the community together to celebrate and support the arts.
As a sponsor your evening promises to be full of exciting surprises with great Wyoming cuisine by Chef Bernard of Armor’s, and special entertainment with celebrity guests. Highlight of the Annual Dinner for 2006 is a large live auction featuring the WOW window panels painted by local and regional artists and a silent auction of panels by selected community groups.
